Lightcoat / Galvannealed steel are members of the “Galvanized Family” whose primary function is improved paint adhesion.

Although slightly different in the method of manufacturing, both Lightcoat and Galvanneal have a grey, spangle free, matt finish. It is this matt finish which provides the superior paint adhesion.

These products are also known in the industry as Colourbond, Satincoat or Wipecoat which are registered trade names produced by the mills.
