Duties/Responsibilities:

Follow up on all inquiries, quotations, and orders in a timely fashion;

Develop value added sales opportunities by promoting the sale of products and services of the Company at an acceptable gross profit level;
-
Keeps fully informed and up to date on company pricing policies and sales techniques;
-
Enter all customer sales orders, work orders, and purchase orders;
-
Keeps informed on processing and delivery schedules so customers can be kept accurately advised;
-
Maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers;
-
Ensures effective customer follow-up;
-
Constantly develops and communicates knowledge with sales manager of the prices quoted on requests, quotations, customer activities and marketing strategies;
-
Maintains and upgrades product knowledge of the products marketed by the company and their applications;
- Informs sales manager on any competitors marketing or pricing policies;
- Familiarize with the company’s sales and credit conditions;
-
Other duties as assigned;
Qualifications:
- Product knowledge and understanding of steel products.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written form.
- Must have strong math skills.
- Proven sales effectiveness and demonstrated customer interfacing skills.
- Proficiency with Windows based computer applications;
- Detail orientated;
